A leading medical device company was in the process of launching their CTScan product in Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines and this research was aimed at understanding thecurrent dynamics in the CT Scan space across different hospital set-up types like private clinics,private hospitals and public district level hospitals, and also to test the value proposition acrossstakeholders. Set up types with existing Single slice to 16 slice CT Scan machines from leading medical device manufacturers were targeted.
We recruited Radiologists, Radiology director/manager, Radiology administrator / Chief of Radiology,Business Owner, Chief executive officer Involved in the purchase decision of Radiology equipment'sUsers of Radio imaging equipment's such as X Ray, Ultrasound, MRI or Surgical C-Arm across tier 1 and tier 2 cities from these countries for an hour in depth interview.
Client was able to do the need gap analysis in the higher CT slices segment for different hospital set up types, understand the usage of medical imaging equipment's and gain insights into the new concept evaluation and purchase intention. Price point analysis for the new CT scan designs.
